Fredericksburg Pioneer Museum Field Trip

October 26, 2018 – Last Friday, I took my Notgrass History High School and Middle School students, including my boys, on an incredible field trip to the Fredericksburg Pioneer Museum to compliment our lessons on the pioneers heading westward in the 1800’s. It was awesome!

Besides getting a personal tour of all of the buildings on the property, each kiddo also got to make their own rope, make and eat butter from heavy whipping cream and even make a corn husk doll. It was a great experience! Thank you to the amazing volunteers for leading the stations for us and for the parents of the class for bringing the students!

Highly recommend this great tour to anyone that lives in the South Texas – Hill Country area! $6.00 for students and $6.50 for adults. Reservations required.
